Professional experience

I have been working professionally as an interpreter since 2011 mainly in following areas:

Politics, economy, industry, market research, medicine, culture, media. I became acquainted with the practical side of this profession starting with my internship in 2009, and was able to deepen my knowledge after graduating in 2011. I have since then been working in many different fields of the free market: starting with philosophical seminars, political and social debates, taking later on assignments which required topic-specific knowledge, as in case of market research, medical or pharmaceutical congresses, until interpreting for media and television. I also had several projects in the area of culture, where I took part in film festivals, book presentations and prominent theatrical performances.

At the same time, I have been working as a freelance translator since 2008, again covering a broad range of topics: politics, economy, tourism, real estate, law, IT, construction business and electrical engineering. Here as well I tend to come across different and new subjects all the time, which are varying from culture to medicine, from marketing to media, or, for example, from a simple tour guide to a technical tutorial. I also gained extensive experience in the area of software and video-game localization.
