Translation & Proofreading

Translating is the written act of transferring the meaning of the source language into a target language. This indeed very old profession is nowadays carried out only with the help of a PC.

Translation

I translate texts from and into many formats, with Word, Excel and Power Point as being the preferred formats by customers. I am also very familiar with computer aided translation (CAT) tools, whenever these are deemed necessary or are specifically requested.

Proofreading

Proofreading is the process of review of a translation carried out by another person. The main stress here lies on the fast identification of content/translation mistakes and on the attentive proof of term/language consistency.
